Brothers,

I received a call this morning from Westside Chapter President Pappy who informed me of the sad news that NK Henry "Uncle Louie" Smith has passed away today. As you all know Uncle Louie was involved in a serious motorcycle accident a few months ago. On behalf of the members of the Parent Chapter I want to express my deepest condolences to the Smith family and to Uncle Louie's brothers and sisters in the Westside Chapter. He was an unforgettable individual and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. The family and the Westside Chapter have our unwavering support

Hello brothers,
Some of you may or may not know that Voodoo took a nasty fall in DC on Sunday.  He has some nasty road rash, possibly bruised ribs and lung and a couple broken toes. The bike has taken some pretty bad damage but they tell him is might be salvageable. He couldn't tell me enough how lucky he felt having his leather jacket on. 
He is home and tending his injuries, he wanted me to let you all know that he is doing well and has a lot of help between other Nam Knights, Friends,Family and Neighbors, and wanted to Thank those that have called.
He sounded good when we spoke and if you would like to call him that should be OK.
Let's all hope him well and a speedy recovery.
